Lea Brückner is an award-winning violinist who has performed across Europe in cities such as Brussels, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Tallinn, Mallorca, and Rome, among many others. In August 2024, she released her debut album Pangea with Oehms Classics/Naxos.
Lea earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany, and also holds a second Master’s degree in Cultural Management.
Since 2021, she has combined her passion for music with a commitment to sustainability within her initiative „Music for our planet“. In 2023/2024 she was the host of the Green Monday concert series at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, which was awarded the OPUS KLASSIK 2024 in the category „Innovation Prize for Sustainability”.
As a climate ambassador in the arts sector, Lea has been invited to speak at prestigious events such as the World Food Forum of the United Nations in Rome, the German Parliament, the Impact Day Festival in Tallinn, and the classical music fair Classical:Next. She also leads workshops on sustainability in culture for organizations such as the Aktionsnetzwerk Nachhaltigkeit.
Lea has been featured in interviews on podcasts like Classeek 15’ and Klassik Crush (ARD/WDR) and has been interviewed by numerous radio stations, including RBB, SWR, SR, Klassik Radio, Tilos Radio, WDR, and Deutschlandfunk Kultur, among others.
